Annapurna Interactive and The Fullbright Company have announced that Gone Home has suffered a last minute delay on Nintendo Switch, and will now release next week.

June 7th, 1995. 1:15 AM. You arrive home after a year abroad. You expect your family to greet you, but the house is empty. Something’s not right. Where is everyone? And what’s happened here?

In this interactive exploration simulator that became a genre-defining classic, you must unravel what has happened by interrogating every detail in the house to uncover the story of those that lived there.

Created by BioShock series veterans, that will see you open any drawer and door to pick up objects to examine them for clues, to reveal the family’s struggles to deal with uncertainty, heartache, and change.

Gone Home will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch in Europe and North America on September 6th.
