Ghostlight have confirmed that they are to release Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked and Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor II across the PAL region, for Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo DS respectively.

Considered to be one of the best role-playing games of 2009, Devil Survivor Overclocked sees Tokyo in full lockdown, the government’s response to a sudden demon invasion. Whilst you must solve the nature of the inter-dimensional rift through which they are entering the world, staying alive remains your priority.

This Nintendo 3DS version has been expanded and enhanced, voice acting for the game’s entirety being a new addition and it now concluding with a special eighth chapter which proves a rousing epilogue for fans.

Devil Survivor II on the other hand sees an all-new story and cast, introducing an expanded roster of demons to manage. The sequel sees refinements, and incorporates a new soundtrack from composer Kenji Ito.

Its plot revolves around a new website that shows the manner of people’s deaths in advance. This circulates amongst a Japanese high school, with three students witnessing their own horrific deaths in a subway accident just minutes in the future. They are able to narrowly escape their fate, only to find themselves soon facing otherworldly demons.
