After handling the Volcanion distribution event, GAME has switched gear to present a chance to secure the Paleozoic Pokémon, Genesect.
The Genesect distribution event will run between 1st – 24th November 2016, and is available to Pokémon Omega Ruby, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, Pokémon X or Pokémon Y.
Genesect is the Paleozoic Pokémon, and was first seen in 2012’s Pokémon Black and Pokémon White. It is an ancient Bug and Steel-type Pokémon that was changed by the evil Team Plasma, who altered the cannon on its back. Genesect can hold four different Drives, each of which changes the colour of part of its body as well as the type of its Techno Blast move.
This Genesect is Level 100, has the Download ability, and the moves Techno Blast, Magnet Bomb, Solar Beam, and Signal Beam.
The Pokémon TCG: Mythical Pokémon Collection – Genesect will also see release on November 1st, while GAME will exclusively sell a Genesect plush from TOMY and an exclusive T-shirt designed by Bioworld Europe.
How to get the Mythical Pokémon Genesect in Pokémon Omega Ruby, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, Pokémon X, or Pokémon Y
1. Make sure your Nintendo 3DS system is connected to the internet.
2. Open your Pokémon Omega Ruby, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, Pokémon X, or Pokémon Y game.
3. Select Mystery Gift on the main menu.
4. Select Receive Gift, then Yes.
5. Select Get With Code, then Yes, then Yes again to connect to the internet.
6. Enter your code.
7. Watch as you receive your Mythical Pokémon Genesect.
8. Speak to the delivery girl in any Pokémon Center to receive your Genesect.
9. Be sure to save your game.
