Starbreeze has announced that Geminose: Animal Popstars will see release as a Nintendo Switch exclusive, a game in which players will build and grow a music band of Geminose animals.

Each has their own unique personality and country of origin, with Magic, Music, and Dance being at the heart of the Geminose Superstars world.

With dress-up items to unlock to customise your musicians to help reflect their individual personalities and more than 30 instruments with several variations to master, players will perform in Festivals and take their band on a World Stage Tour.

Success will earn you rewards that will let you decorate and customise each animal’s room in the Geminose Mansion, slowly turning it into a luxurious Superstar home.

There is also the chance to combine your two favourite Geminose to create over 90 hybrid Mashup animals that can become your band’s fan base, helping to unlock Songs, Content, and Games.

“We’re super impressed with the Switch, its install base and are longtime fans of Nintendo,” enthused Starbreeze CEO Bo Andersson Klint.

“We’ll be launching Geminose: Animal Popstars exclusively for the platform and taking it to family living rooms all over the world.”

Geminose: Animal Popstars will release for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
