GameStop Detail Trade-In Offer Toward Nintendo Switch

With GameStop’s Nintendo Switch stock allocation already looking alarmingly low, the specialist retailer has announced a trade-in offer that will help those that secure one.

Reddit user IamNickJones has shared a leaflet that the retailer will distribute to customers over the next week, breaking down exactly what is required to make the most out of the offer.

Between 13th – 22nd January 2017, customers can receive $50 extra credit if they trade in their Wii U, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or PlayStation VR toward Nintendo Switch. Those that trade in a Wii or Nintendo 3DS can receive $20 credit. Those that are a Power Up Rewards Pro Member can receive slightly more at either $75 or $30 extra credit, respectively.

As can be expected whatever you choose to trade “must be in full working condition to receive full value,” and will be subject to manager approval. This trade-in offer is so far only confirmed for those in the United States and Guam.
