Nintendo of America are looking to set the scene ahead of 3DS exclusive Bravely Default releasing next month.
This latest trailer provides an early glimpse at the game’s narrative, which centres around the sudden appearance of a Great Chasm that tears the earth apart and plunges the world of Luxendarc into darkness. With the four elemental crystals threatened, Agnès Oblige, the vestal of the Wind Crystal, is joined by three unlikely heroes as they set out to return light to the world.
A sequel, Bravely Second, is already in development and will determine if the series continues beyond it.
Bravely Default is now available across Europe, and released in North America on February 7th.
