If you’re looking to start your adventure in the Alola region as soon as possible, GAME Retail has announced that 312 stores will host midnight launch events for Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon across the United Kingdom.
With doors opening from 10pm, stores have been decked in Pokémon themed décor and will promise cosplay competitions, movie screenings, and Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) tournaments. The complete list of store locations can be found on GAME’s website.
There will also be a GAME pop-up shop at the Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon launch event, which will be held tonight at The Truman Brewery in London.
Those attending can pre-purchase their copy of Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon from 5pm, and then collect their copies between 8 – 10pm at the event, shortly ahead of their official release at midnight.
The event will include special activities, whether that be early playable access to the Nintendo 3DS exclusives, goodies and giveaways, or the chance for a photo with a life-size Pikachu.
Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon will release exclusively for Nintendo 3DS in North America, Australia and New Zealand on November 18th, and in Europe on November 23rd.
