Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire may, in future, be headed to the Nintendo 3DS, Pokémon series director Junichi Masuda recently commented.
Responding to a fan request on Twitter who requested a remake of the duo of Pokémon releases, Masuda responded: “Thanks for your thoughts. Ruby and Sapphire are important games to me. I will consider your request.”
Whilst Nintendo 3DS owners are sure to prefer an entirely new entry for the handheld, there is also the possibility that Nintendo may have already laid plans to early titles from the Pokémon series through the Nintendo eShop service.
