With the Pokémon Stars rumour still lingering in our minds, Game Freak has fuelled speculation that they are hard at work on a game destined for Nintendo Switch.

Siliconera reports that the developer is recruiting for 3D CG designer and character modeller roles, specifying that applicants will have the “chance to work on the development of a globally popular RPG!”

Those that apply will be expected to have experience with Autodesk Maya, software used for modelling, rendering, simulation, texturing and animation tools.

The character modeller role even goes as far as to list that applicants should have experience in creating assets that could be seen in either a Wii U or PlayStation Vita game. Those that are successful will work on creating cartoon-like characters, monsters and item models, which certainly sounds like a Pokémon game…

Each role will be a temporary contract, with work expected to last until May 2018 at the latest.
