Retailers are continuing to compete in regards to Nintendo 3DS pricing, as a journey to my local GAME store revealed that the specialist retailer has dropped the price to a rather tempting £148.99.
Such a price is only available on the Cosmos Black model of Nintendo’s latest handheld, presumably in a move to directly compete with Grainger Games, winner of the MCV Industry Excellence Award 2010 for Best Indepent Retailer of the Year, who are offering the same model for £149 in-store currently. The ‘We price match local competitors’ statement certainly seems to back this up.
However, I am aware that I’m not the only one to have found such a price available within their local GAME store, with others across the country stating that they had seen similar pricing. Regardless, I would definitely recommend you give yours a quick call before heading down. Let us know if this tempts you into picking up a Nintendo 3DS at such a bargain price!
