GAME assisting with New Nintendo 3DS System Transfer workaround

GAME will be supporting launch of the New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL by holding midnight openings across more than 100 stores tonight, MCV reports.

The specialist retailer is also looking to support those needing to perform a System Transfer to shift software and data across from their old model.

Those that purchase a new system can return to the store with their receipt, guaranteeing that, for the seven days after purchase, they will receive the already confirmed trade-in value for their old 2DS, 3DS or 3DS XL. That means that you have plenty of time to take your new tech home, transfer everything across, and then return to the store to earn some money back against the upgrade afterward.
