G.I. Joe: Operation Blackout Storms Nintendo Switch This October

GameMill Entertainment and Hasbro have revealed that G.I. Joe: Operation Blackout is in development for Nintendo Switch.

The team-based third-person shooter comes to the portable home console with split-screen co-op multiplayer and will see you set out on an original story that takes inspiration from ’80s comics.

There are 18 campaign missions that have iconic vehicle and boss battles, with the chance to play as 12 playable characters such as Duke, Snake Eyes, Cobra Commander, Destro, Roadblock, Storm Shadow and others.

Each soldier has unique powers as well as weapon and skin customisation options, and the game will also include competitive multiplayer modes like Capture the Flag, Assault and King of the Hill.

G.I. Joe: Operation Blackout will release at retail and on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 13th October 2020.
