CyberConnect2 has revealed that Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 is in development for Nintendo Switch.
This is a direct sequel to 2021’s Fuga: Melodies of Steel and is set a year after the events of the original game. The children once again head towards the chaos of battle aboard a tank, waiting to see what terrible fate awaits them and what other secrets remain undiscovered within their world.
The developer has promised that the experience “turns up the dial on the strategy, adventure and drama that were praised from the first entry in the series.” It has also worked hard to introduce a “ramped-up battle system” and a brand new event system that opens up “more thrilling choices to affect your experience.”
There is also a free demo for the original game now available on the Nintendo eShop. This will let you experience the story “up through Chapter 3,” with the chance to carry your save data over to the full game when purchased.
Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 will release digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2023.
