Bandai Namco Entertainment has revealed that a free software update for Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun! will add the DonKatsu Fight mode.
This will challenge you to knock down your opponents in one-on-one fights, using crazy Power-Ups.
With the Joy-Con used as drumsticks, Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun! uses motion-control play to replicate the arcade-style experience.
There are 20 multiplayer rhythm-based minigames for up to four players to participate in, and, in the Rhythm Games Mode, you can play as Nintendo characters like Kirby and an Inkling Squid.
Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun! is now available exclusively for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
