Electronic Arts has announced a free 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia update for FIFA 18, that promises to deliver a complete and official tournament experience.

With official FIFA World Cup elements like authentic teams, stadiums, kits, badges, the official match ball, and the official winner’s trophy, the update will become available on Tuesday 29th May.

You will be able to choose one of 32 qualified nations to live out your FIFA World Cup dream and write your own history from the group stage to the final in Moscow, whether that be in Online Friendlies or Online Tournament modes.

And then, in Custom Tournament mode, you can select any licensed national team in FIFA 18 to create a unique tournament draw with non-qualified nations, such as Italy, Chile, and the USA. With all 12 stadiums from Russia having been recreated in-game, you can also choose to play a quick Kick-Off experience solo or with friends.

You can then jump into FIFA World Cup Ultimate Team, in which you can use a revised chemistry system with dynamic player items related to the real-world tournament to build a dream international squad. There will also be new FIFA World Cup Icons, presenting the chance to add some of the most iconic players from the tournament’s history to your collection.
