Motion Twin has announced that the free Dead Cells: Rise of the Giant downloadable content will release next week.
To become available on Thursday 23rd May, this will introduce a new biome and boss for you to take on.
There will also be new monsters, weapons, and challenges, as well as delivering “much needed” balancing fixes – with the hope that it makes weapons such as the Spartan Sandals more fun to use.
You can expect a new difficulty level that’s been created for the “most talented players,” and other hidden content.
As for what’s next, the developer explains: “We’ll be bringing the patch for this patch… That’s right, patchception, to the Switch as soon as possible. We’re testing it now and should submit to certification in the next month or so.
“We’ve got a couple of new content updates planned for the rest of the year… So stay tuned and we’ll keep you posted.”
Dead Cells is now available on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
