Outright Games has announced that the second free update for Bluey: The Videogame is now available on Nintendo Switch.
This lets you play as the flamingo queen Muffin and her squash-loving Dad Uncle Stripe, with the chance to collect flamingos and rackets, unlock new pictures for the Sticker Book and swap stars and medals for special rewards.
Bluey The Videogame is based on the Emmy and BAFTA Award-winning global TV show, which stars the loveable but inexhaustible Blue Heeler dog Bluey who lives with her Mum, Dad and her little sister Bingo. As with every kid her age, Bluey likes to play games and uses her limitless energy to play those that unfold in often unpredictable and hilarious ways.
The game features voices from the English-speaking cast of the show, including Dad, Bandit (David McCormack) and Mum, Chilli (Melanie Zanetti). You will have the chance to become immersed in Bluey’s world, with iconic locations such as Bluey’s home having been “faithfully recreated” for this interactive sandbox adventure.
With story-driven episodic gameplay, you can participate in activities that take inspiration from fan-favourite moments from the show, as well as a new four-part storyline created in partnership with Artax Games, BBC Studios and the show’s producers at Ludo Studio.
Designed with flexibility in mind, you can explore at your own pace and jump between story quests and activities at any time. Up to four players will be able to play as Bluey, Bingo, Mum and Dad, participating in minigames such as Keepy Uppy and Magic Xylophone. There are in-game rewards to unlock like new costumes, stickers, playable episodes and locations.
Bluey: The Videogame will be released at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 17 November 2023.
