Epic Games has released a new software update for Fortnite on Nintendo Switch, changes made to the free-to-play battle royale game seeing it now on version 6.31 on the portable home console.

The extensive update has made “improvements to level streaming performance on Xbox One and Switch (improving building load times during skydiving),” as well as fixing a crash on the portable home console that had “occasionally occurred” when players logged in for the first time.

The headline additions are the new Epic and Legendary rarities for the Pump Shotgun and the new Team Rumble LTM, where two teams of 20 players will compete to be the first to score 100 eliminations to win. Players will respawn five seconds after elimination (before the score is reached, obviously) and will keep their hoarded inventory.

Fortnite is now available on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
