Epic Games has released a new software update for Fortnite on Nintendo Switch, bringing changes to the free-to-play battle royale game to version on the portable home console.

This has been released to coincide with the version 5.1.0 content update, but, at this point in time, it’s unclear whether it has made any specific improvements to game’s performance on the portable home console.

The content update has seen the Guided Missile weapon make a return and added a new Fly Explosives Limited Time Mode – an explosives only game mode in which players can use Jetpacks to fly above their enemies and rain down destruction from the skies.

The only bug fix that Epic Games has mentioned is that they have managed to address the issues that they had encountered with Slurp Juice, and it is now back in the game.
