It’s been slowly rolling around the map, but, today, the mysterious purple cube in Fortnite has reached its final destination and dissolved into Loot Lake.
YouTuber Laytxn was able to catch the event as it happened, seeing the ominous cube sink into the lake before transferring its Bouncer trap-like properties to the water.
The purple cube had first appeared nearly a month back when Fortnite’s map was struck with repeated lightning strikes. One last cataclysmic strike created the interdimensional cube, and, in the process, closed the rift that had been created in the sky when Season 5 had started.
Fortnite is now available on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
