Introduced in Fortnite update version 4.5.0 but soon swiftly taken offline, Epic Games has announced that Playground LTM (Limited Time Mode) is now available to play once again.

Playground LTM is described as “a low-pressure environment where friends can let their creativity run wild. Build massive structures. Practice with the weapons and items. Fight against your friends. Have fun!”

That will let you drop into the Battle Royale map with a squad of friends for an hour, where you can spend your time creating, playing and training however you like.

Players will respawn on death unless killed by the storm, but it won’t start closing in for 55 minutes and, at that point, will take 5 minutes to close in.

Resources gathered are at 10 times the normal rate, 100 Llamas will be spawned on the map and Chests and Ammo Boxes will spawn 100 percent of the time.

“Success! We’ve completed deploying our servers containing the improved matchmaking changes. All players can now join in on the fun in the Playground LTM,” Epic Games wrote in an update.

“Please remember to change your region back to “auto select” and verify you’re on your preferred region. There is the possibility that you may encounter an error, as many players are attempting to join this game mode. Just attempt to re-queue until you find a match.

“We’ll be releasing an in-depth and detailed postmortem in the near future to go over the obstacles that we encountered during the process of trying to enable this Limited Time Mode. But for now, drop in and let your imaginations run wild!”
