All in! Games and CookieByte Entertainment have confirmed a release date for Fort Triumph on Nintendo Switch.

The “challenging yet fun” fantasy-themed turn-based tactics game is pitched as “part-XCOM, part-Heroes of Might and Magic III,” with the developer looking to add their own unique tactical environmental interactions.

You will have the chance to explore the world, build towns, collect artefacts, improve your heroes and use physics to influence your surroundings as you lead your band of heroes “through a witty, parody fantasy plot.”

All in! Games CEO Piotr Żygadło explains: “After Fort Triumph’s successful debut on Steam last year, we are confident that console players will enjoy the unique blend of XCOM and Heroes of Might and Magic III it presents. The demand for tactical games on consoles is growing so we’re excited to provide fans of the genre with something fresh. The game’s colorful visuals and upbeat soundtrack complement its quirky essence. We think it will suit both hardcore gamers looking for a challenge as well as casual players that are drawn by the game’s lighthearted comedy.”

Fort Triumph will release on Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 13th August 2021.
