SEGA and Sports Interactive have confirmed that Football Manager 2022 Touch is now available on Nintendo Switch.

This promises a “streamlined path to Football Manager glory,” in which you will be able to delegate the detail to your dedicated backroom team and skip the media circus – leaving you to focus on tactics and transfers.

There are 123 leagues from 53 of the world’s biggest football nations to choose from, for whom you will be able to stamp your style on the field. On match day, you will be able to use many tactical presets that have been modelled on the world’s most popular styles or choose a custom setting for those that want more control to tailor their own approach.

Your scouts will help you to assemble “a dream squad full of global superstars and wonderkids,” whether you choose to savour the action from the touchline on match day or skip to the final whistle with the Instant Result option.

As for what’s new in Football Manager 2022 Touch, the publisher has outlined the below:

  • Controller advancement: Improved controller integration makes competing for soccer’s biggest prizes easier than ever. Benefit from enhancements across a multitude of menus with the new ability to multi-select rows of information.
  • Powered by data: Improve your team’s results with the new Data Hub, which brings together all of your team’s game analysis in one place. Powered by stats that real clubs use, it’ll be easier for you to iron out issues with your squad and elevate performances to new levels.
  • Increased Match Authenticity: A remodeled animation engine allows your players to really show off their skills in our most striking match action yet. An improved pressing system is just one of several AI overhauls that make matchdays simply unmissable.
  • More responsive media: Instant feedback on your media interactions enables you to keep a happier squad, with clearer information on how your decisions impact the morale of your players.

Football Manager 2022 Touch is now available digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
