Double Fine Presents and Teknopants have announced that Samurai Gunn 2 will release on Nintendo Switch, that, armed with a sword, gunn and three bullets per life, challenges you to fight or fly past your foes to discover the mystery behind Gunn City’s ghostly threat.
In an expansive Adventure mode, you can choose to battle your way through a medieval metropolis on the brink of crisis with a friend. Not only is a mad emperor looking to expand the city at a ridiculous pace, but a gunnpowder overdose epidemic is on the rise and old spirits are creeping back into the world.
The updated Versus mode will let up to four players battle as a princess, golem, samurai knight or homeless girl, with the experience having improved controls and new levels.
Exclusive Nintendo Switch content comes in Trigger Soul, a Samurai Gunn graphic novel penned by French comic creator Valentin Seiche.
Samurai Gunn 2 will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in Q1 2019.
