Flowerworks HD: Follie’s Adventure prepares for Wii U release

Melbourne-based Nocturnal Entertainment Australia have announced that they have completed development for Flowerworks HD: Follie’s Adventure, which will soon see release on Wii U.

The game, which previously saw release through the ill-fated WiiWare service, has been remastered in glorious high definition. Combining flowers and fireworks, the action-adventure game places players in the role of confused alien Follie who crash lands on planet Elilia whilst transporting Flowerworks seeds to her aunt. Rather disappointed with her newfound surroundings, Follie therefore sets out to recover the seeds and grow Flowerworks to transform the planet’s surface.

Nocturnal have noted that if this game sells well on Wii U, then they will continue to support the console with additional projects – so keep an eye out for it!

Flowerworks HD: Follie’s Adventure will see an intial launch in North America, with a European release to shortly follow.
