Fishing Star World Tour Review Header

Aksys Games has revealed that Fishing Star World Tour will receive a retail release on Nintendo Switch.

With support for the Nintendo Labo Toy-Con Fishing Rod, the game challenges you to catch more than 180 kinds of fish in 40 different scenic locations around the world.

You must use the Fish Book to check the objectives that you must complete and track different species of fish, jotting down what you have caught and where.

There’s also the chance to customize your fishing gear – such as the Lure, Reel, and Rod – to boost your stats and improve your performance.

We enjoyed our time with Fishing Star World Tour, concluding in our review: “In an industry that at the moment finds itself focused on Battle Royale, shooters and generally anything with big budgets and plenty of action, Fishing Star World Tour is a wonderfully refreshing change of pace.

“With its picturesque visuals and chilled out gameplay, my time spent fishing in Wright Flyer Studios’ colorful little world was a relaxing and surprisingly fun one.”

Fishing Star World Tour will release at retail for Nintendo Switch in North America on September 26th priced at $29.99.
