First4Figures unveil pre-order details regarding latest Dark Link figure

First4Figures have announced their latest addition to The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time product line, Dark Link.

The figure is available in both a Normal and Exclusive form, with the latter incorporating internal electronics that allow Dark Link’s eyes to ominously glow a deep red. Each are priced at $169.99 and $189.99 respectively. You’ll have to be fast though as only 2500 of the Normal statue are being made, whereas there’ll only be 500 of the Exclusive.

Information and images regarding the figures, which are due to be released in Q3 2011, are below:

Dark Link appears as the mini-boss of the Water Temple, appearing as Link’s shadow in a strange, illusionary room. His voice is the same as Link’s, but much lower in tone giving it a demonic feel. He can use some of Link’s sword attacks and is considered to be one of the most difficult enemies to defeat in the game. At the beginning of the battle, Dark Link is nearly transparent. As the battle continues, Dark Link will gradually become opaque as the battle progresses. When Link defeats Dark Link, the illusionary tree and pond disappear from the room and the door forward opens.

Dark Link is posed ready to engage in combat with Link, about to launch himself straight at the Hero of Time! We have painstakingly added all his distinctive details. You can see gravel detail through the surface of the water on the base. This exclusive version comes with light up red eyes and the base has 4 lights that slowly pulse at different times to give the water an eerie shimmering effect.

He measures approximately 12 inches tall and 9 inches wide including the base. He is in scale to the others in the Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask range of statues. Cast in high quality poly-stone, the statue is hand finished and hand painted.
He comes in deluxe full color packaging, hand numbered base, and includes an Authenticity Card which allows you to purchase the same number of the model next in the Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask range.

Highly limited to 500 pieces worldwide.

Please note, if you already have any other statues in this series and are expecting to receive the same number, you must authenticate your previous statue in the series.
