The Pokémon Company International has released the first Pokémon: Twilight Wings episode on the official Pokémon YouTube channel.
This seven-episode animated series will let viewers explore the Galar region “in a vibrant new way.”
The episodes show the dreams of Galar’s residents, the realities they face, the challenges they must overcome, the conflicts they must resolve, and new Pokémon that have been discovered in the Galar region for the first time.
This first episode – called “Letter” – focuses on John, a young boy who has been hospital-bound from an early age.
Ever since he saw his first Pokémon battle on TV, he’s been a big fan of Champion Leon – and he’s dreamed of watching one of Leon’s matches in a stadium. Could a visit from Chairman Rose pave the way for his dreams to come true?
A new Pokémon: Twilight Wings episode, each approximately five minutes in length, will be released “every month until the series concludes this summer.”
