Today’s Nintendo Direct shared news that Mario Kart 8’s first downloadable content pack will roll up to the starting line on November 13th.
This will add Link, Cat Peach and Tanooki Mario to the competition, four new vehicles (the Blue Falcon, B Dasher, Master Cycle and Tanooki Kart) and eight new tracks that will be split between two Cups. The Egg Cup will comprise of the returning Yoshi Circuit, and Excitebike Arena, Dragon Driftway and the F-Zero inspired Mute City, whereas the Triforce Cup will see Wario’s Gold Mine and Rainbow Road return alongside ice Ice Post and Hyrule Circuit.
This will be followed by more downloadable content in May 2015, and packs can either be purchased individually for £7 ($7.99) or together as a bundle for £11 ($11.99). Those that buy both either way will receive eight new colours for Yoshi and Shy Guy.
