Spike Chunsoft has shared the first Kaname Date’s Dreamy Drama Theater episode, its weekly anime episodes that star chibi versions of characters from No Sleep For Kaname Date – From AI: The Somnium Files.
In each episode, the characters will find themselves in unusual situations while trying to introduce some of the game’s features.
Starting from this week, each episode of the five-part series will be released every Tuesday through to 15 July 2025:
- Episode 1: Quiz Show: Our protagonist, Kaname Date, takes on the role of a quiz show host, posing questions to four contestants, each of whom responds with bizarre answers…
- Episode 2: Cooking Class (Premieres: June 24 at 10:00 am PDT): Internet idol Iris and her fan, Ota Matsushita, take on a cooking challenge. Ota, who runs a restaurant, acts as the instructor, but things take a turn when Iris starts adding some unusual ingredients.
- Episode 3: 24 Hour Policing (Premieres: July 1 at 10:00 am PDT): Police officer Date wants to kick down the door of Ota’s restaurant. He threatens Ota and demands that he open the door. The confrontation heats up.
- Episode 4: Driving School (Premieres: July 8 at 10:00 am PDT): Iris begins her driving training in Date’s car, but Date soon finds himself caught up in a dangerous situation. Will they make it back safely?
- Episode 5: Another World (Premieres: July 15 at 10:00 am PDT): Ota has somehow been reincarnated in another world. He rushes to rescue Iris, who is trapped in a device with a familiar design, but…!
No Sleep For Kaname Date – From AI: The Somnium Files will be released at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 worldwide on 25 July 2025.
