Aside from being the cheapest way to own all three versions, buying the Fire Emblem Fates Special Edition will also reward you in other ways.
GameStop’s retail listing for the anticipated strategy RPG reveals that those that purchase the Special Edition can “play Revelation three weeks prior to launch on [Nintendo] eShop.”
In last week’s Nintendo Direct, it was revealed that Fire Emblem Fates: Revelation is to be released as an “in-game download” after launch. We don’t know precisely as to when that will be, but the first two versions will certainly provide enough content for you to sink time into.
“It will reveal some juicy secrets about the story that will affect the way you think about the other paths,” Nintendo of America’s senior product marketing manager Bill Trinen had shared about the third iteration. “It’s as revealing as the name implies, so you’ll probably want to save that one for last.”
Fire Emblem Fates will release exclusively for Nintendo 3DS across North America on February 19th, and in Europe in 2016.
