Fire Emblem Fates Special Edition issues a call to arms

After confusion swirled in E3 2015’s aftermath, Nintendo has confirmed that Fire Emblem Fates‘ continued western advance will see the Nintendo 3DS exclusive release in three versions.

The two main games will be called Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright and Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest, each promising a unique quest with a different story and experience – which will release at retail and on the Nintendo eShop.

After purchasing one game, players will have chance to purchase the other digitally “at a reduced price via an in-game purchase.

Nintendo has also shared plans to release Fire Emblem Fates: Revelation, a third downloadable version that will reveal secrets about the story that will affect the way you think about the other paths.

Those interested in purchasing all three versions can look forward to a special edition ($79.99) that will include each game and an artbook in Europe, with North America adding in a Nintendo 3DS XL pouch.

Fire Emblem Fates will launch exclusively for Nintendo 3DS in North America on February 19th, and in Europe in early 2016.
