Square Enix has announced that digital pre-orders for Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster are now open, revealing the file size for those planning to download the games on Nintendo Switch.

From the Nintendo eShop page, we can learn that those wanting to buy the games digitally on the portable home console will need 26.9 GB.

For comparison’s sake, that means that the file size is slightly smaller when compared to PlayStation 4 (32.11 GB), but larger than PlayStation 3 (22.89 GB) and PlayStation Vita (6.65 GB).

It’s worth remembering that, for those that are looking to buy a physical copy, Final Fantasy X HD Remaster will be on the game card but Final Fantasy X-2 HD Remaster must be downloaded separately.

Final Fantasy X HD Remaster follows the story of superstar blitzball player Tidus, whose fate becomes intertwined with the young summoner Yuna as she sets out on a pilgrimage to save the world of Spira from an endless cycle of destruction.

And then Final Fantasy X-2 HD Remaster returns players to Spira two years later. When Yuna is shown a mysterious but familiar image in a sphere, she becomes a Sphere Hunter and, with her companions Rikku and Paine, travel the world to uncover answers to the mystery within.

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster will release for Nintendo Switch worldwide on April 16th.
