Alliance Games and Ruari O’Sullivan have announced that Overwhelm will release on Nintendo Switch next month, a suffocating action-platformer in which enemies get power-ups but you don’t.
It comes to the portable home console with an exclusive co-op mode, presenting the chance for you to fight through the hive locally with a friend – reviving each other when you fall.
Your challenge? To defeat each of the five bosses in any order that, once slain, will pass their abilities on to the hive’s creatures to escalate the difficulty. However, take one hit and you will die. Three deaths and the run is over.
Overwhelm will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on April 4th.
