Flyhigh Works has announced that Samurai Defender: Ninja Warfare will release on Nintendo Switch this week, challenging you to defend your castle and protect your land.

You must defeat the waves of enemies that lay siege to your gate using the capabilities of your men, strengthening them with the money that you earn to succeed against even tougher opposition.

That will soon see you face historically famous commanders and generals such as Oda Nobunaga, Tokugawa Ieyasu, Sanada Yukimura, Date Masamune, Takeda Shingen, Akechi Mitsuhide and more.

The Nintendo Switch version throws in new levels, boss encounters and large-scale battles, with the chance to play with the touchscreen in Handheld mode or using button input.

Samurai Defender: Ninja Warfare will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch on June 7th priced at €7,99 ($7.99), and can be pre-ordered now at a 10 percent discount.
