Electronic Arts are still steering clear of Wii U, although that isn’t preventing them from supporting Nintendo’s more successful consoles.
FIFA 15, which this year promises to bring “emotional intelligence” to all 22 players on new-gen consoles, will also see Wii and 3DS versions released. So, inadvertently, Wii U owners will at least be able to play that being developed for the console’s predecessor.
That also continues to raise warning flags, we only need to take a look at CVG‘s article comparing FIFA 13 and FIFA 12 to see that EA only take the time to essentially update the game’s roster and logo. Or to ONM to see how barebones FIFA 14 on 3DS was.
We’ve already been warned that “not all game features are available on all gaming platforms,” but we’ll have to wait and see how this one turns out…
