Players can choose to brawl as the Female Villager from Animal Crossing in Super Smash Bros. on Wii U and 3DS, series creator Masahiro Sakurai has confirmed.
“You can choose to play as the girl villager too!! How lovely,” Sakurai wrote on Miiverse.
The accompanying image revealed far more than that however, with the Villager at least not simply seeing colour swaps for the character’s alternate costumes, but new faces and hairstyles too.
Super Smash Bros. will release on 3DS this summer, with the Wii U version following in winter.
