Samurai Punk has released Feather on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch, a serene game that has looked to explore the joy of flight.

It began development as an air-combat fighting project for a game jam, but, after disagreements about how combat would work, the team shifted their attention to delivering a fluid and joyous flight experience.

You play as a bird and can “lose yourself in zen-like flow” while taking flight to explore a vast island, listening to a soothing ambient soundtrack from composer Mitchell Pasmans.

With passive online multiplayer, you may soon discover other players in your world – which observes a full day-night cycle.

Feather is now available on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide, priced at £8.09 ($9.99).
