Forever Entertainment has announced that Fear Effect Sedna will release on Nintendo Switch early next month.

The Kickstarter-backed real-time tactical action game is a brand new adventure that takes place four years after the first game.

While looking to recreate the atmosphere and characters from the original, players can look forward to immersing themselves in a unique and new world in Fear Effect Sedna that developer Sushee hopes will appeal to fans both old and new.

Hana, now freed from the Triad, lives with Rain in Hong Kong and occasionally works as a mercenary, while Deke has grown apart from them since Glas returned to the United States.

Hana soon accepts a mission for a shadowy organisation to recover a mysterious ancient statuette held by the Chinese ambassador in France, while Glas is approached by a client who catches his attention enough that he soon sets out for Greenland.

The developer had shared in a Kickstarter update that the game’s development had been completed in January, writing:

“Console builds are done. Bugs are gone. Ratings are finalised. Contracts are being signed. Legal requirements are being resolved. Builds are being submitted. Store images are being created. Dates are being set.”

Fear Effect Sedna will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on March 6th.
