Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water will horrify you later this year

Koei Tecmo Games will horrify us all later this year, when Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water sees a western release on Wii U.

Maide of Black Water is comprised of three interconnected stories that will eventually converge to uncover the truth behind a string of tragic deaths in a forest already marred by a history of suicides.

With the power of the Camera Obscura allowing you to see the shadows of those spirited away, you will discover the ruins of an eerie inn, a shrine filled with life-size dolls, and, rather harrowingly, a lake full of dead priestesses.

These are all connected by a stream of water that flows through the mountain, which, once holy, is tied to the mystery surrounding the death and darkness on Mt. Hikami.

Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water will release exclusively for Wii U across North America in Fall 2015, and as Project Zero: Maiden of Black Water in Europe in Autumn 2015.
