LEVEL-5’s Fantasy Life will shortly allow players to become masters of their own destinies, and Nintendo have confirmed that it will be supported by an add-on content pack from launch.

Origin Island will deliver an entirely new area to explore which plays home to an ancient culture and challenging foes, in addition to more story content, higher ranks to achieve in Life Classes, more powerful equipment, and two new pet varieties for you to adopt: birds and dragons.

Origin Island was part of Fantasy Life Link!, a substantial paid expansion that LEVEL-5 released in Japan half a year after the game launched. It added online multiplayer with up to four players, and a new Link Mode that allowed you to communicate in-game and send notifications to one another about their accomplishments when playing alone.

While the multiplayer and communicative aspects have been reworked into Fantasy Life’s western arrival, it has been left to players discretion whether they want to extend their adventure with Origin Island.

Fantasy Life will launch exclusively for Nintendo 3DS across Europe on September 26th, and in North America on October 24th.
