Square Enix has teamed up with Mistwalker to release Fantasian Neo Dimension on Nintendo Switch.
Now unshackled from its Apple Arcade exclusivity, the critically acclaimed RPG is the latest collaboration between Final Fantasy series creator Hironobu Sakaguchi and celebrated composer Nobuo Uematsu.
You play as Leo, who must journey to recover his memories and solve the mystery behind a strange mechanical infection that is destroying his world.
That will see you explore a multi-dimensional universe come to life which is set against the backdrop of more than 150 hand-crafted dioramas.
The experience also offers “an original and modern take on the beloved turn-based battle system,” with unique mechanics and strategic combat that look to “shake up” the classic RPG formula.
The RPG will come to the portable home console as an “enhanced version” with brand new features, such as English and Japanese voiceovers and an additional difficulty option.
Fantasian Neo Dimension will be released digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in Winter 2024.
