As promised, the Fancy Pattern Vivillon distribution event is now live for Pokémon X and Pokémon Y players worldwide.
The Pokémon Company International had announced that they would reward players with the unique Pokémon when trades made through the in-game Global Trade Station reached a rather impressive 100 million milestone worldwide. That figure was achieved over the weekend, and so the company have now flipped the distribution switch!
Vivillon has proved a popular Pokémon to trade, as the patterns and colours on its wings vary between the players location which was why it was chosen for this special distribution event.
To download your Fancy Pattern Vivillon, load your copy of Pokémon X or Pokémon Y and select “Mystery Gift” from the main menu. From here select “Receive Gift” and then “Get by Internet,” after which the game will search and detect the commemorative Pokémon. Select “Yes” to accept it, and then you will need to visit a Pokémon Center to speak to a delivery girl to receive it.
The Fancy Pattern Vivillon will be distributed between now up until 31st July 2014, so be quick!
