Famitsu readers share 2013 console purchase intentions

Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu held a poll, in which they asked readers to indicate which consoles and/or handhelds they intended to purchase throughout the next year.

Despite faltering market appeal and a noticeable lack of regular software releases, Japanese consumers mostly want to purchase the PS Vita.

The Nintendo 3DS comes in second, with the 33.8% of readers indicating that they would soon like to purchase a Wii U.
