The latest issue of Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu has provided the first wave of reviews for the launch line-up of software for the Nintendo 3DS.
Nintendogs + Cats received the highest score, achieving 38/40, with Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition and Samurai Warriors Chronicles gaining 34/40. The lowest scoring launch titles were Combat of Giants Dinosaur 3D, Puzzle Bobble 3D and Shanghai Cube 3D.
For those unfamiliar with the format, each game is reviewed by a panel of four games journalists who award individual scores between 0-10, with an overall score being rated out of 40.
The scores are as follows:

* Nintendogs + Cats: 10, 9, 9, 10 (38/40)
* Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask: 8, 8, 8, 8 (32/40)

* Samurai Warriors Chronicles: 9, 9, 8, 8 (34/40)
