Japan’s Weekly Famitsu magazine has announced the winners in this year’s Famitsu Awards, which saw Nintendo receive plenty of praise.
Top of the bill was Splatoon, which the magazine named as their Game of the Year. It also received the Innovation Award alongside fellow Wii U exclusive Super Mario Maker, as well as the Rookie Award. Capcom’s Monster Hunter Generations was named Best Hit Award, while Fire Emblem Fates and Super Mario Maker also received the Excellence Prize.
