Bethesda Softworks has announced that Fallout Shelter is out now on Nintendo Switch, a free-to-play game that puts you in control of a state-of-the-art underground Vault from Vault-Tec.

It is down to you to build the perfect Vault to keep your Dwellers happy, turning an excavation beneath 2,000 feet of bedrock into a harmonious picture of Vault Life.

You will need to get to know your Dwellers to lead them to happiness, finding their ideal jobs and providing them with outfits, weapons, and training to improve their abilities. Building a Radio Room will let you attract new Dwellers or you can play matchmaker with those in your Vault.

In your hunt for new weapons, armour, to gain experience and earn Caps, you must send your Dwellers above ground to explore the blasted surface left behind. That will let them seek adventure, handy survival loot, or unspeakable death.

Fallout Shelter is now available on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
