Koei Tecmo and GUST Studios have revealed that Fairy Tail is in development for Nintendo Switch.

This new magical JRPG is based on author Hiro Mashima’s best-selling Japanese manga and marks the first time that a Fairy Tail game has been released on consoles in the west.

With the chance to “experience the beloved narrative that has captivated people from around the globe for over a decade,” you can expect to find demons, dark wizards, dragons, and cats as you explore the land of Fiore.

You will have the chance to play through Natsu Dragneel and Lucy Heartfilia’s adventures, as well as the other members of the Fairy Tail mage guild.

The game is being developed under Mashima’s supervision and promises to deliver a faithful recreation of Fairy Tail’s world and everything that inhabits it.

Fairy Tail will release for Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2020.
