Versus Evil and Abrakam Entertainment have confirmed a release date for Faeria on Nintendo Switch.
This strategic card game promises to be “like no other.” You will have the chance to craft decks and shape the battlefield, whether that see you raising mountains, building forests, filling lakes or harnessing the sands of the deserts.
It comes packed with more than 100 hours of solo content, co-operative missions and puzzles, as well as the chance to play against the AI or put your deck to the “ultimate test” in PVP – earning rewards based on how well you do.
The game will launch with full cross-play support, with players on PC, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch able to go head-to-head with each other online.
For the first 30 days, those that buy Faeria on the portable home console can receive five downloadable content packs – Premium Edition, All Avatars, All Cardbacks, All Orbs and All Orbs – for free as a special “thank you.” This would normally set you back around £46.95 ($46.95).
“Bringing Faeria to consoles with cross-play has been the main focus of Versus Evil since we started working with Abrakam,” explains Versus Evil general manager Steve Escalante.
“Faeria continues to be listed with the top CCGs in the market, and bringing this to consoles while supporting play with our PC community is adding to the fun. The Nintendo Switch version will be particularly popular, as Faeria is a perfect fit for the system’s handheld mode and touchscreen. We can’t wait for everyone to enjoy Faeria and are pleased you can play this game on your platform of choice.”
Faeria will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 13th August 2020 priced at £17.99 ($19.99).
