Wube Software has announced that Factorio will release on Nintendo Switch, news that was shared in this week’s Nintendo Direct presentation.
After a malfunction causes you to crashland on a strange planet, this management sim game will challenge you to build a new rocket from scratch. You must scour the planet for materials to then build the machines required to refine what you have gathered into the resources that you need.
With the chance to join forces with other players in cooperative cross-platform multiplayer, to succeed you will need to construct multiple automated production lines, research technologies, build infrastructure and fight any enemies that threaten to derail the progress that you have made.
Factorio will release digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 28th October 2022
